This build is well rounded and budget-friendly with an i5-7600k and a GTX 1060. It includes the minimum 8GB of RAM and a 275GB SSD. The storage space is on the small side but it’s sufficient enough for the operating system and PUBG. While it may be classified as entry level, it’s still capable of close to 60FPS on ultra settings with a 1080p resolution. For a little bit more money, you can step up to the intermediate build and upgrade your graphics card to a GTX 1070. This upgrade will help prevent FPS dips below 60FPS for 1080p resolutions in order to provide a smoother gaming experience. However, you will still occasionally experience frame drops under 60 FPS during intense scenes. In addition to the upgraded graphics card, you will also get increased storage for more game space, 16GB of RAM for multitasking, an NZXT Internal USB Expansion Hub to accommodate for future upgrades, and the NZXT Kraken X52 to keep your CPU cooler during long gaming sessions. If you want to play PUBG with excellent framerates at 1440p and even better framerates at 1080p, then this is the build for you. Instead of using an i5-7600k like the previous two builds, we upgraded to an i7-7700k and a GTX 1080 in order to get highest framerates and smoothest gameplay. This build also comes with the Kraken X62 for increased CPU cooling performance and a 1TB SSD for even more space for storing games. In addition to performing well, we’ve included a 16GB kit of G.Skill RBG RAM to look good as well! The following data was gathered during 6 x 20 minute rounds using FRAPS to record the minimum, maximum and average FPS. We started the recording process right after jumping out of the airplane in order to maintain control and avoid any odd FPS recordings during the loading screen or while in the lobby. As you can see from the chart above, System 3 performs extremely well in both 1080p and 1440p resolutions. This system is recommended to any gamer who prefers maximum graphical settings and the highest framerates without compromise. System 2 is ideal for any gamer who doesn’t plan on playing games at 1440p and prefers to play on a 1080p monitor while averaging 80 FPS. System 1 is recommended for the entry level gamer who’s looking to get into PC gaming with solid performance at 1080p.
