NZXT CAM VERSION v4.6.0
Released Apr 22, 2020
- No new features.
- No new adjustments.
- Corrected a flickering issue when running multiple Kraken Z series on infographic lighting modes (i.e. CPU Temperature).
Today’s v4.6.0 release of NZXT CAM is relatively small as we’re working on some longer term projects. Here’s what we’d like to highlight:
Updated login flow:
As mentioned in v4.5.0, we are now ready to transition all our users to the new login flow. In v4.5.0, we sent 10% of user login traffic to our new service to see how well it could handle the traffic and diagnose any issues. After close monitoring and a few adjustments, we feel confident that our new service will work better than ever!
Upcoming Beta Program:
We’re still ironing out the details, but the team is working on building a continuous beta program for NZXT CAM. The main goal of this program will be to provide a more stable experience for all users of the production app. The program will be entirely opt-in, and we’ll be in touch with more information on how to participate soon. We’re looking for beta testers, so if you are interested, please keep an eye out for the next dev log!
We’ve been working on a number of internal tooling projects. Nothing you would see reflected on the user interface, but hopefully the changes we’re making will better our processes of building NZXT CAM. We are also strengthening the way we record crash information and adding more diagnostic logging to help us treat any bugs you may encounter (but only if you choose to share that information with us!).
We hope you’ll join us on our journey of continuously improving NZXT CAM. The team is committed to making your experience a good one. Please continue to support us and give feedback! Our next update is scheduled for 5/6, so please stay tuned for more updates to NZXT CAM.
