As of August 31st, we’ll be retiring CAM 3.7. Which means removing the ANR feature and the loss of any Game History files you have from that version of NZXT CAM.
Why are we removing these features?
We always like to check in with our community before removing features from NZXT CAM. Upon reaching out, we saw that only a small portion of our community were utilizing ANR. With that in mind, we’re going to reallocate our resources to provide an ever better experience in other areas of our software that CAM users have been requesting.
What this means for you
If you are currently using CAM 3.7, your version will no longer be supported. Features that are no longer available in NZXT CAM may deteriorate or stop working entirely. If you would like to save your Game History, fear not! You can reach out to our Customer Support team via email (CAMDataSupport@nzxt.com) and request a copy of your log until September 30th, 2020. You will receive a JSON file with your name, date/time/duration, as well as FPS. This service will only be available for a limited time, so be sure to act fast.
What you can do
Come on over to the latest version of NZXT CAM, the water is warm! We release updates every two weeks, whether we’re patching bugs or adding new features. NZXT CAM has truly been a labor of love and we’re excited for you to try it out!
Keep in mind
Your lighting profiles won’t transfer over when you upgrade to the latest version of NZXT CAM, so make sure you take note of any of your favorite effects. Additionally, you should not have two versions of NZXT CAM software downloaded on your PC. Once NZXT CAM is installed, make sure to uninstall CAM 3.7.
We can’t wait to give you an even better experience with your PC. Reach out to our support team with any questions or needs you may have and don’t forget to join the official NZXT Discord server so you can chat more about our software in the #cam-feedback channel!
