I’m normally a really low-key dude.
Sure, I go to sports events with my friends and family to root for my favorite teams; however, never in my life have I screamed myself hoarse like I did at RLCS. Never have I literally fallen on the ground like I did when Kuxir97 made a blind save against the Exodus team in Game 2, resulting in a counter-attack goal (my brain couldn’t compute the defense I had just witnessed). I jumped up and down like a little kid when I heard Twitch.tv/RocketLeague broke 50K viewers on Day 1.
I went to the moon when I heard it hit 88K viewers on Day 2.
There was nothing like being swept up in the energy of the RLCS live crowd. It was a great opportunity being able to attend as a member of NZXT – we were the only RLCS sponsor in attendance with a booth! NZXT is and always will be the very first sponsor of the RLCS, and we can’t wait to keep supporting the game through sponsorship and community involvement. Be sure to check out our event recap video so you can get the full breakdown of the gaming PCs we provided for the players to practice and compete on!
Also, if you haven’t seen it already, be sure to check out our modded Manta mobile we brought with us!
