WHO SHOULD INSTALL THE KRAKEN G10?
Builders looking for extra cooling support while placing their PC under heavy stress will benefit the most from installing the Kraken G10.
That’s because the Kraken G10 is especially designed to cool both Nvidia and AMD VRM modules while providing enough clearance to properly mount supplemental VRM sinks.
If you decide to take things up a notch, you can also overclock your GPU without worrying about keeping things cool.
WHAT’S INSIDE THE BOX?
Inside the Kraken G10 packaging you’ll find:
- 1 x Kraken G10 Bracket
- 1 x 92mm VRM Cooling Fan
- 1 x Set of Universal Mounting Hardware
HOW TO INSTALL THE KRAKEN G10
Step 1: Remove the original cooling module from the graphics card.
Step 2: Use the fan screws to fasten the fan onto the GPU bracket. Apply the two foam blocks to the inside of the GPU bracket to ease installation.
Step 3: Fully insert the GPU screws through the applicable holes from the exterior of the backplate.Use the spacer to secure the GPU screws to the interior of the backplate.
Step 4: Install the assembled backplate onto the graphics card.
Step 5: Pass the liquid cooler pump through the bracket. Rotate the pump until it aligns with the bracket teeth, then pull the pump against the bracket.
Step 6: Place the graphics card on top of the interior of the assembled backplate.
Step 7: Tighten the nuts down by hand in an X formation.
Step 8: Use the included zip-ties to manage the pump’s tubes and power cables.
Step 9: Mount the radiator into a nearby location in the case.
Step 10: Connect the Kraken G10 fan and the liquid cooler’s fan to the liquid cooler’s fan power connector or mainboard’s connector.
Step 11: Connect the pump’s 3-pin power cable to the motherboard’s 4-pin or 3-pin fan connector.
Step 12: Install the assembled graphics card into the case.
Step 13: To complete the installation, please follow the included instructions included with the liquid cooler.
