NZXT is proud to announce its partnership with the world renowned Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) organization.
As a company filled with gamers, NZXT has always kept a close eye on the rise of competitive gaming. With the explosive growth taking place in the League of Legends eSports scene, NZXT is happy to announce its support for the cause, and its planned contributions. Today I’ll give a quick overview about why we chose CLG and what our goals are in sponsoring CLG.
NZXT and eSports
With many of us being hardcore gamers ourselves, PC hardware is not the only thing we are passionate about here at NZXT. Gaming has become a very important part of our culture and we always strive to bring the best products for mainstream users, gamers and enthusiasts alike.
We have been asked about eSports sponsorship for quite some time now, but we’ve been holding off because of one simple reason: we want to do more. To us, eSports sponsorship means much, much more than a logo on a jersey, a name on a website, or a product on a stream.
Why Counter Logic Gaming?
We want to bridge the gaps between the fans, the players, the organizations and the manufacturers, because all of us play a unique role in this wonderful gaming community. CLG has continually shown the eSports world why they deserve to be a part of competitive gaming. Their enormous fan base and star power allow us to bridge the divide between our users, eSports and us as a hardware manufacturer. CLG also exemplifies what NZXT looks for in a professional gaming team.
At MLG Anaheim this past weekend, we teamed up with iBuypower to bring CLG some sexy new systems featuring our custom, fresh off the production-line Phantom 530 chassis.
Plans for the Future
Certainly that’s not all we’re doing, so keep an eye out because we have some other great things planned for the future. One thing we are able to reveal right now is an upcoming Google+ hangout with NZXT and CLG. Stay tuned for more updates to come!
